September 4, 2023 - Evolving slowly from where it was a year ago. Combines subtle strawberry fruit with easy oxidation, and good acidity. Great citrus finish. Good now, has the backbone to go for several more years. Keeping 3 aside to see how it progresses.

December 11, 2022 - Great rosado. Combines a waxy start with light red fruit and something herbaceous. Plenty of acidity to keep this going for several years.

March 20, 2021 - Just a singular wine, and showing no sign of slowing down. Bright pink, intensely perfumed, and with an electric palate full of candied strawberry (in the best way), sea spray, mineral and creamy texture. I wrote “nervy and razor sharp” 2 years ago and this is still exactly the description. The only difference is that the back end has fleshed out a bit with a more persistent finish. Excellent and one of the best rosés out there. Sad this is the last of my ‘15s but glad I have a big stash of ‘16.

October 28, 2020 - This, our last, was as well described by Seafoam below. To that we will add it also had a bit of dust and ash. Very enjoyable over three nights.

June 27, 2020 - More of a pale onion skin color. This is an inherently funky wine that has added an extra layer of funk over the past year or so, so it's probably not for everyone. There's a ton of the waxiness that you expect from the Viura, but there's also something that isn't entirely different from the petrol notes in an aged Riesling. The fruit has a dried quality to it, along with a dose of spice and all of it has been slathered in Viura wax. High acid, and a touch of tannin give this a lot more grip than a typical Rosé. Drink now.
