October 3, 2020 - Nice floral aromas from the glass. The tannins are smooth and rounded offering some grip and structure around a core of dark fruit. This has great acidity that is boht wet and juicy around the tongue. There's flavors of blackberry and cassis with a hint of dark chocolate on the medium++ finish - a surprising long finish - leaving you wanting more. Midweek, or, on the weekend, this is a PnP wine with a great QPR worth trying.

April 20, 2020 - Just drank the last of a 6 pack of these. There was definite bottle variation. 4 were fantastic, balanced, and all in line with my previous review. The other two were super sweet and the nose and the palate were dominated by alcohol. I received the last bottle via blind tasting tonight, and my first guess was that this was a port. My second was that it was apothic red or some other super sweet cheap red. I liked it, and it settled down after a bit of time in the glass, but it definitely was not the wonderful and complex wine I recall from my first tasting.
