May 6, 2014 - I had no idea about the estate during the 90s, but it seems like it was pretty disappointing. I expected more and instead received a very simple wine lacking any elegance.

September 26, 2013 - Decanted almost two hours before serving. All black fruit aromas with lots of power, nuanced spice. Powerful like many 1993s but also seemingly forward and ripe flavors. Very nicely integrated tannins. Kept evolving with more time in glass, by the end it was starting to show far more tertiary characteristics than I'd expect .
