August 13, 2021 - A year since my last bottle, and while I’m not having the same ecstatic reaction to it, this wine is still a joy to drink. Tons of complexity, depth and texture, with lemon-honey tea, minerals, wax and wool, and a nice minty note. showing a little bit more bitterness than before.

July 16, 2021 - Another brilliant effort by D&R. Vibrant, a touch of fruit salad, with a menagerie of various grapes helping out to make it complex. Loved it!

December 3, 2020 - Fruit salad. Goes down easy, but lacks acid, focus, mineral, something.

September 20, 2020 - Jeeeebus this is insanely good!! Kitchen sink, yes, but the 55% semillon and 16% chenin blanc are really the driving forces here (although one could argue that the 10% viognier and 3% muscat play a very meaty role in the aromatic honeyed freshness here).

From the get go, the nose is full of bright honeysuckle, lemon juice/zest, orchard fruit, and a riot of white flowers.

Palate is rich but impeccably balanced - leads with bold lemon-melon-semillon fruit and rich frangipane tart, backed by a funky thrum of chenin-lanolin, and perked up with juicy acid and seaspray minerals. Texturally, it's incredibly velvety and rich for a 12.3% alc wine... I'd like to say this is where the 15% pinot blanc comes in - but honestly it's hard to say what is what, since all 3 main grapes can have this great textural richness. And for the price, I'm not sure there is a better value in this range. Mind blown. *pow*

Not sure how it'll age but drink it now and let it be a little solace to this annus horriblus.

June 20, 2020 - Too bad it was the last bottle. Still a favorite. Floral aromas and tropical fruit, but dry and not too much sweetness.

May 25, 2020 - Had this on the first hot day in Massachusetts. Politely stated nose doesn't overwhelm but is inviting. Canteloupe, fennel, lime?

Medium body offers a nice presence that carries nice full flavors of honey and melon. Medium-to-low acidity, and some salt on the finish.
