February 12, 2023 - Superb. Pale ruby color fading to ruby-orange at the edge. Pleasant nose, showing cherries, sand, earth, mushroom, in that order. Light bodied on the palate, with beautiful acid balance led by lively fruit and lemon peel notes. Easy finish. The Bechthold Vineyard Cinsault is one of California’s best light-bodied reds. I kept this for a few years just to see what would happen and wow.

November 30, 2019 - Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Medium-deep garnet color. Ryan Sherman’s restrained style yields attractive rhubarb, spice, and cherry-berry notes in a light and brisk body. ABV is 12.5%.

October 18, 2019 - Garnet color with purple flashes. Nice spicy nose, showing cherry and forest floor. Light-bodied by good flavors that include peach and oregano. Easy pleasant finish.
