January 4, 2014 - Same notes as prior. Black cherry with earth and nice backbone. Very balanced. Nice plush fruit drives this pure wine. I like this style. Drink up.

October 19, 2013 - CHERRIES AND BLACK CHERRIES IN THE NOSE AND FLAVOR WITH A TOUCH OF EARTHINESS. MEDIUM TO LONG FINISH.

August 26, 2012 - A great opener to a night of fine wines. Decanted but started drinking immediately. Evolved nicely over an hour. Recommend two hour decant. Black cherry flavor profile. Earthy. Very nice structure that is well integrated and buttraced by nice acidity. A complement to food. Fruit was refined not jammy or juicy. French in character.

November 22, 2010 - This is an exemplary Robert Parker pinot (he scored it high, by the way) -- over the top fruit and little nuance. My wife described this as "very strong and very sweet", and that about sums it up. On the nose, vanilla, oak, smoke, blueberry, and black cherry. Palate is heavy blackberry and black cherry, offset by a notes of citrus and chalky tannin. Not terrible, but not really what I am looking for in a pinot.
