September 18, 2023 - Opened but did not decant. Was accessible within 20-min and paired nicely with stir-fried chicken and mixed vegetables. Cloudy violet color. The floral nose brings intense purple lavender, potpourri, violets, and some wood smoke. The palate is medium, round, and textured, bringing a nice core of red, purple, and blue fruit mixed with bitters, cloves, and hints of cinnamon and spices into a tannic finish. This is an elegant, complex wine that is just beginning to reveal itself. Will be best 2024-2030. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

September 3, 2023 - Bit cloudy almost deep ruby with some purple. Bit developement in rim. Started to shine after couple of hours decanting. Medium intense nose with wild strawberry, black cherry, mint, bit of funk, sage, earthy, oak, violet, cassis, perfume, cinnamon. Blueberry on palate. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium+ body. Long. Nuanced, harmonious, balanced. Excellent mouthfeel and lovely tannins. Very ripe vintage. Will improve over the years to come. Lovely, sophisticated, well balanced and serious Gamay.

April 19, 2023 - Still dark and jammy with strong reductive / medicinal note that never quite blows off. My last bottle, but I have a hunch this will continue to improve. I would hold for 2 - 5 years.
