December 22, 2020 - Interesting. I am generally not a huge dolcetto fan, but this is not a typical dolcetto. Popped and poured at cellar temp. Smoky black fruit, vanilla and dark earth on the nose. Sweet black fruit and vanilla on the attack but nice drying tannins and acid on the finish give it some good balance. Would be a great pairing with some braised meat, like an osco bucco. Ready to drink today, may pick up a little complexity with some more bottle time, but not a long term ager.

December 18, 2020 - My very first bottle from this producer. Slight V/A on the nose, same on the palate and it becomes even more present on day 2. To make it short true to the grape but not a very charming or refined example.
A disappointment regarding the superb reputation of the producer.
