    April 7, 2022 - N - fresh strawberry , orange peel, and a hint of heme
M - very polished, lighter nevertheless quite flavorful red fruits, nice juicy acidity with rather minimal tannins. Some of the cheeses overpowered this delicate wine so pick your pairing carefully.

January 18, 2022 - Better than last bottle. Impresdice combo of fruit, earth and lightness

December 29, 2021 - First of all, how does one still produce 12.5% wines in this age of global warming. Second, why isn’t any other chambolle producer able to provide such weightless balance and aromatic energy. My first Mugnier and definitely not my last.
I can’t begin to imagine what Freddy is able to deliver on grand cru soils - surely the complexity and length built onto such foundations knows no equal. Or 2-3 tops

December 27, 2021 - Terrific aromatics right at the start - musk and candied fruits; elegant and yet has vigor and tension. I suppose the appropriate imagery would be that of a ballerina dancing. This is no ordinary village.

June 7, 2021 - This is my first non-Marechale Mugnier bottling, and it did not disappoint. Ridiculously silky mouthfeel, beautifully balanced fruit and spice, and that beguiling Mugnier length that always seems at odds with its weight. This is absolutely fantastic now, but I can't wait to see what happens with age.
