May 9, 2023 - Red Fruit, a little oaky and vanilla to begin with but blew off after an hour in the decanter. Very balanced. Nice acids and mineraity. Try again in 4 yrs

April 21, 2023 - I was sadly feeling unwell during my visit to Domaine Louis Boillot, so my tasting really did not do the wines justice. All were well very received by the rest of the group.

Noting what was tasted here for my own records.

November 25, 2022 - A lively start and a firm finish full of red fruit accented by a flip of black licorice and red apple skin. Two pours kept for the second day were just as fresh.

November 11, 2022 - Ripe and dense, a big wine but with a senes of lightness to it, good materials but hasn't fully come together yet.

January 9, 2021 - Bright red fruit nose, initially light on its feet then tightens up with air. Keeps the lively nose but the palate could use a few years in the cellar.

December 23, 2020 - Young and lovely. Forgive me for robbing the cradle on this one a full decade before "Les Angles" enters its prime drinking window.

Beautifully deep maroon in the glass. Luminescent. a festival of Reflecting light. A celebration of the tasting experience to come.

Lush fruit rolling forward in the mouth. Round and balanced. Cherry flavor notes rooted in just a touch of wood. There is quite the spice and alcohol esters traveling from the lips towards the back of the mouth. The tannins bring the slightest pucker. Quite beautiful really.

November 27, 2020 - Easy to drink now with ripe fruit, sufficient structure and low tannins. I don’t see this going long term, but right now this is drinking well.
