April 16, 2024 - Consumed over three nights, this is my second bottle, the first was four years ago. At age 7, I don’t find the wine particularly interesting or compelling. It is a food-friendly wine with plenty of acid and tannin structure, and at only 12.5% it is also lunch-friendly. But it is a bit too lean and harsh, particularly on the finish. Surprisingly, it hardly changed over three nights, so this, its structure, and the winemaker’s reputation gives me a glimmer of hope that it will evolve and improve.

December 8, 2022 - Billed as a mini Gevrey and its really good. Lovely fruit, cherries and raspberries. Also floral nose and a fine linear structure. Have had a few vintages of this and big fan

April 23, 2022 - This is an ok wine .
I find it tannic dominated and the dark fruit flavours that are present are suppressed by the tannins. Will keep a few bottles and see if the wine balances out with time.

January 7, 2022 - I little softer than other vintages, and perhaps with less depth. Nonetheless a great, really terrific, value in an everyday Bourgogne. Hard to do better at this price.

December 6, 2021 - Opens up with a fragrant nose of red cherries, pepper and flowers. Juicy, red fruited palate, spices, lots of energy. There’s real depth here, a hint of tannins. Serious Pinot, lovely now but surely there is more to come.

September 12, 2021 - Great showing again. Still needs air, but in a very good spot right now. The overall balance, fruit and decaying leaves are just great. Shoots above the appellation.

July 23, 2021 - Medium to light red in colour, good acidity, great red fruit nose with a touch of tannins on the back of the palate, with loads of dark fruit flavour.
An easy drinking very satisfying well made Bourgogne. A great daily drinker.

May 14, 2021 - Garnet color. Pomegranate, rose on the nose. Cranberry, rhubarb, raspberry, acidity, some dryness of green tobacco and bay leaf. Good Bourgogne level although a bit thinnish. Went well with Potato Leek soup and bread with creamy cheese.
