January 27, 2021 - Beautifully elegant but profound nose of red and blue fruits, roasted fennel and licorice, spiced cocoa and fresh eucalyptus. Some decanting open up the nose more. Palate is rich and fresh, deep and extended at the same time. Almost full-bodied structure with fine-grained tannins towards the end of the palate. Seamless transition to the finish which is dense and lingering. Just some tannins round up the finish. A few more years of aging will bring this CDP to a higher level of balance. 91-93 pts.

October 15, 2020 - 15.5% abv! Silky mouthfeel and texture, turns tannic and hints at sweetness but never gets there - stays dry, structured, spicy, floral and red fruited. Viscous in glass, a little hot on nose, but definitely an interesting ‘drink now or later’ wine. $90 cdn might be tad over its pay grade but intentions and fruit are solid.

September 21, 2019 - Silky, refined, floral, round, lush and intense, the fruit is ripe, supple, spicy and fresh. The kirsch offers a nice pop of red fruit in the long, elegant, kirsch dominated finish. The wine was produced blending 98% old vine Grenache, with 1% Cinsault and 1% Clariette.
