November 19, 2023 - One of the best Barbera's I've had. Well balanced and polished medium bodied wine. Plum, dark cherry, currants and hint of vanilla. Drinking nicely!
July 12, 2021 - not blind
One of the best Barbera I had so far. Ok I had not so many so far. But anyway reluctant, elegant, some spicy notes, tar and dark cherries. Refreshing acidity. Ripe tannins. 92-93
June 7, 2021 - A perfumed nose of decaying rose, spiced plum and cranberry. It has decent flesh and fruit flavours that has some crunch. There's some earth, florals and smoked meat and the wines is one of nice balance and proportion. Drinking well now with plenty in the tank.
February 18, 2021 - Nice plummy fruit, but jeez it's 15% and feels it. Too big.
December 18, 2020 - Intense blood plum and cherry fruits. A hint of earth and some florals too. Good richness and depth and cut by saline minerality. Lovely perfume and balance. Thoroughly engaging.
December 18, 2020 - PnP smakt sammen med 2013 og pizza. Mektig nese med fersk vin, litt sponplate og kirsebær. Intens smak med ferske bær, flott syre og passe tanniner. Feit juice. Klarer 15% ganske greit, men litt i tyngste laget for min smak. 2 dager i flaske: Rik og smud . Utypisk årgang,
November 8, 2020 - Nice change of pace. Dark fruited but really elegant nose and palate that keeps this lifted and seemingly light. Dark berry and mild pepper notes. Strong finish. This is 15% alcohol??? I couldn’t tell.
October 11, 2020 - Drank with fscov. Lots of pedigree here, but closed as a drum at this stage. Hold for 5+years, or decant it as much as you can. Complete notes at brl_winelover on Instagram.
October 11, 2020 - Decanting by 2 hours. Need more years. 91-92pts
October 11, 2020 - The Last Few Weeks; 9/1/2020-11/2/2020: A really nice showing. Crushed blackberries, a smoky wood note, and lots of violets. Palate was still pretty firm, but it's drinking in a nice spot. Long life ahead of it, too.
