    December 25, 2023 - Drank at serving temp ~~55F

    Appearance:

    Clear, pale intensity
Yellow with a tinge of green; Lemon Green
Fast quick plentiful tears (dry, high EtOH)

    Nose:

    Clean
    Medium+/deep intensity
Green Fruits (Green apple, pear), Green Melons?
    Citrusy (Lemon Peel)
Very pronounced on green fruits and citrus

    Palate:

    Dry
    Very Light Body
    High Acidity
    High Alcohol
    Citrusy
    Appears to be light intensity.

    Finish:

High intensity, High length. Acidity lingers for quite awhile
Some bitter aftertaste on the back of the tongue, that slightly lingers .

    Conclusion:

2nd day was much better. on Day 1 i did not like it. it had a very strong bitter taste. (which also seemed to mellow out after a while in the glass on day 1). on the nose, its very clean, fresh. it gives me the impression that this would be very good to drink on a nice cool breezy day on the porch.

On the palate, the acidity was to strong for me. it overshadowed the structure and any other characters (fruit, body, etc) gets very shadowed by it.

in general, the flavor seemed pretty bland. maybe thats just the characteristics of Chard. but i am still not well versed in wine to say for sure.

October 24, 2022 - Quite fruity, would have guessed California. Better with food.

August 7, 2022 - Fantastic white burgundy. Definite notes of some kind of nut, fruit but not ripe, possibly slightly tropical. Seems like medium acid but super energetic and really carries the flavors along. Highly recommend, especially with a fish/chicken dish with almonds/walnuts/pine nuts to match the wine.

January 17, 2021 - Med Yellow. Citrus and apples on the nose. A lighter chard, but very drinkable. Pleasant on the palette.

September 27, 2020 - This is softer now; lighter bodied than other Burgundy whites. This is nothing earthshaking, but it is full of tactile charm, lemon/lime flaors, a bit of spice, and a mineral spine. It is an honest wine. As I sip the leftovers on the third afternoon today, I am remain impressed that it hasnt fallen apart, and remains very drinkable.

July 30, 2020 - This was mostly delightful. At times I wanted a little more fullness; it came across as thinner and slightly metallic. But it had fresh farm flavors and scents, some apple and lemon, and no interfering oak. It's a refreshing and appealing wine, very well made. I would pick this up again for sure for a reasonable price.

I enjoyed this with simply prepared salmon, but it probably has the acidity to cut through creamy dishes. Good lunch party wine.

July 11, 2020 - Another wine from the last few months where I didnt note down the date of consumption or keep any notes.

tranquility base got this right. It seemed thinner than I like when I opened it. But it was crisp and refreshing. It grew on me over the two days that I had it ..and it did seem to grow a bit in body. Can't beat it at this price point.
