January 25, 2024 - I’d drink this now, things are relatively integrated but oak still pops out a bit and not sure it improves from here. I like it overall but qpr isn’t great

April 18, 2023 - A very high quality wine to start off with but it did not evolve well after an hour and a half in a decanter/glass. Notes of apple-skin, hazelnut, new oak; banana-coconut tanning lotion.

April 8, 2023 - Back to back with 16 estate. PNP other than an aeration decant. A bit more Carmel tone to the nose vs the 16, and a more youthful expression with less integration of course. Otherwise pretty similar. We enjoyed the 17 over the 16, but not by a significant margin.
