Community Tasting Notes 4

  • Chateau Dudek Likes this wine: 90 points

July 19, 2021 - Great wine, but still a little astringent hours after decant and even next day. Good value for a CDP.

  • Joseph Grassa Likes this wine:

December 30, 2020 - 3 hour slow ox. surprisingly little fruit for such a young CDP. Plumbs and blackberries standout, but the spice and savory side come early and take over the palate. The 15.5% alcohol is a bit too apparent. Shows some promise for when this wine integrates and softens, but it's not ready yet. I have only 3 others and probably wont touch the next until 2025. Drink between 2023-2030.

December 26, 2020 - Decanted for over two hours. Very little by way of aromatics except for a hint of plum. Brick red with a purple hue in the glass. Very soft, almost no tannins and very little structure. Flavors of blackberry. The wine seemed subdued, albeit having a soft mouthfeel.

September 24, 2019 - With a nice shot of ripe, spicy plums in the opening note, the wine is soft, fresh and lively, with a nice kick of sweet black raspberries in the elegant, medium-bodied finish, The wine was made from blending 80% Grenache with Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault.
