November 27, 2023 - 30 minute decant. Unusual exotic spice aromas with clove, mulled spices, and balsa wood. Red currant and cherry compote palate with potpourri, star anise, and white peppercorns. Oak barrel finish with balsamic, peppery cherry, wet bark. Threw a lot of sediment. Unusual wine, quite intense but the spices overwhelmed any fruit and made it weird.

September 4, 2021 - PNP. Deep rosy ruby color. Lots of pecan pie and cherry on the somewhat syrupy, extracted nose. Smooth, dry, black licorice laden palate. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.
