Mineral, citrus notes, some oak, later evolving to ripe apricot, dried nuts too.
Well balanced, with great acidity.
February 4, 2023 - LLM blind tasting dinner. Generous nose with buttery elements, mineralic, lemon curd, I was guessing Meursault. Rich, creamy palate but not heavy, lighter than Californian Chards for example. Surprised to see that this was a white Rhone blend. Fabulous to make a fresh and mineralic wine like this in such a Southern location.
January 12, 2023 - Clear light yellow. There is reduction here but it is so beautiful, brine, wet rock, lemon and lime. Delicious briny citrus and intense minerality. Lovely dry lemon and green apple finish.
December 23, 2022 - still not understanding the critical scores. Must have been tasted before or immediately after release. This had an overwhelmingly strong smoky, charred oak set of aromas that permeated this wine. The fruit was OK, but still nothing to get excited about.
It was disliked by 6 of the tasters, but will refrain from giving a score...
October 15, 2022 - Malgré mon peu d'attrait pour les blancs du sud, je voulais goûter cette cuvée par curiosité, et je ne suis pas déçu, la bouteille s'est très bien présentée. Un peu de craintes à l'ouverture car le nez fait lourd et pataud avec ses notes d'élevage appuyé sur des fruits jaunes surmûrs... Mais un peu d'air dissipe les doutes, et on a affaire à un bel équilibre, une vraie tension, une certaine classe en bouche dans une matière large (14°) mais jamais huileuse, c'est assez dynamique malgré la richesse. On l'a bu à l'apéro, mais c'est clairement un vin de gastronomie, il lui faut du solide. Très bon.
April 4, 2022 - This is one of the strangest wines my wife and I have ever tasted (and we don't necessarily agree on a lot of things! :)) Very odd spiciness on the nose, but we couldn't place it - not cardamon, not cinnamon, IKD - some sort of toasted nuts? Definitely a slightly oxidized note, though. The palate is even more odd, with a density that you'd expect from a rich Cali Chard, but not the fruit - yet there is some oak. Not a lot of acidity. Almost wondering if this bottle is flawed. We have two more, so will definitely test drive sooner than later!

June 26, 2021 - Lemon and honey and with some oily texture along with some spice and a touch of semi-ox style it seems. Reminded richer Burgundies / barrel ferments. Quite good, but a glass is enough as it can feel a bit plodding. I think this would work great with a rich fish or pork dish. Nice wine, but unsure how to rate and I like my Tablas whites better. 14.5% abv.
June 26, 2021 - Clear light yellow. Great burgundy style nose, struck match, wet stone, lemon and lemon oil. Dry lemon and lime flavours and a dry viscous finish.
