October 18, 2021 - Good. On PnP the wine had a bit of a bitter edge on the finish. I put the cork back in, came back the next day, and it had opened up nicely. Light fruit, touch of raisin, and now just a hint of sweetness on the finish. Drank it with mushroom and roasted red onion flatbread. It nicely complemented a not-so-fussy dinner.

March 23, 2021 - Good. Lighter and fruitier than many ripassos Still, there's that little hint of raisin on the finish. Good but not really good.

October 11, 2019 - Very purple, meaty, and sanguine, but also with some lift from something rose-petaly on both nose and palate. Pretty tasty, but a bit hollow in the middle, and too acidless as, in my experience, ripassos typically are.
