December 26, 2020 - Nice round ruby color upon decanting. Decanted 1 hour to allow aromas & flavors to meld. Good full legs w/earthy aroma. Flavors of ripe cherries & cranberries. Pleasantly balanced finish. Went well with Cheese Ravioli in red sauce & sausage, peppers & onions.

August 8, 2020 - Light, slightly brownish color. Light on the nose. Good acidity and tannins. Hints of smokey and leathery oak. Some cherries but overall not very fruity. Paired OK with Osso buco.
