November 17, 2023 - Dark ruby. Medium intense nose of dark cherries, blackberries, slight earthy notes, black pepper, some garrigue, some oak.

Palate similar. Fresh and quite juicy expression. Some spiciness and nibbling tannins. Mature now. Seemed to loose some steam mid way through. Might be better to drink this one around 4 years old.

Medium body, medium acidity and medium- tannins.

    October 30, 2021 - Medium garnet

Nose: dried blackberry, cast iron, a hint of brett and garrigue.

Mouth: Juicy puréed blackberry and light peach notes are streaked with light licorice notes and light anise notes ahead of light tar and roasted thyme notes that peek through on the finish. Has excellent fruit weight, and is quite user friendly for Crozes-Hermitage.

A bit of a paradox, this is juicy and generous, but still linear and direct. This is relatively open and ready to go now, the biggest question is if time will allow the flavors to fan out further. Drink now - 2028.

    91.

September 29, 2021 - 87 Sep 2021 👃 roses, rubber 👅 unripe blackberry (bitter, not like a napa cab), a lot of tar, high acid,a little earthiness. There's something here but could probably use some time.

Nov 2021 maybe I was a little harsh last time. In addition to the notes from b4, I'm also getting plum, licorice, and a finish with dark dark chocolate, some menthol. I'd go 90+ today.

April 15, 2021 - Fairly dark red. Very restrained, black fruit, bacon and thyme. Blackberry and spice flavours and a medium length dry finish.

    Could improve maybe.
