May 5, 2023 - At this point in time.....smooooooth...like butter...but no butter. This isn't an over oaked american chardonnay for god's sake.
It was still fantastic, but definitely time to drink. Had it with burgers...and with or without the food it was delicious. But tannins are definitely gone.
March 29, 2023 - Good but not great. Probably right at the end of its drinking window.
March 5, 2017 - Decanted for about an hour. Nose of dried cherry and raspberry. Color still great considering bottle age. Sediment on cork, light sediment in bottle. Palate definitely shows resolved tannins with a little gritty on the mid palate of coffee and dried red fruits. Finishes a little vegetal. Still had some life, left but definitely running out of gas. Still very drinkable.
November 30, 2013 - Wine had spoiled slightly I believe. Had a bit of an after taste
January 12, 2013 - Lush, rich, opulent, fruit forward, but light body and finish, great cab franc
September 8, 2012 - PNP, no decant necessary this is ready right out of the bottle. Soft lush fruit with a little smoked meat, no tannins left drink up!!!!
April 1, 2012 - A bit more refined with fruit more balanced. Still lovely nose, full red berry upfront flavor with attractive finish.
December 17, 2011 - Smooth, complex. Has not shown it's age for being in the bottle 9 years. Would have been good for a couple of more years. Very good bottle of wine.
November 14, 2011 - NY/NJ Offline at Ciano (Ciano, NYC): Dark fruit, blueberry, vanilla and oak notes on the nose. Ripe, round fruit on the palate. Full-bodied with medium acid, medium high tannin, and a long finish.
August 4, 2011 - Continues the impress. Full mouth filling flavors, rich fruit and long finish.
