March 11, 2023 - Decanted for five hours. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Nay a hard edge, nor a lack of dimension. An almost savory, extremely long finish, with blueberries, kirsch, barbecue sauce, char-siu pork, lilies, Kona coffee and red licorice. Endowed and there is this fine beam of acidity that literally draws you in. It is so challenging to drink this slowly. A true goddess in form and legend. Possibly my favorite Grenache from Eleven Confessions - which is a rather bold statement - however, I am reminded of ‘13 and ‘16, then becoming insecure with that assessment. Balance is the key. Balance is eminent here. Starting to open up, I see no reason to rush, nor a reason to wait. Fine tannins and a full body. Twenty years from now this will still be shining. Drink 2025 -.

December 8, 2022 - This is a decadent wine. Just gobs and gobs of fruit Lots of plum, raspberry , broken stone, licorice and makes a strong first impression. Mult- dimensional it finds a way into every corner of your mouth. It’s like eating a Monet at the d’Orsay. Incredible right now, tomorrow and for many years to come.

November 11, 2022 - Pure raspberry on the nose. Amazing ripe fruit but fresh and light. Lots of raspberry, strawberry spices and slight earth. Overall silky, light profile but rich flavors. Decant for a few hours and you will love it

    August 31, 2022 - An outstanding bottle.

July 25, 2022 - Huge massive gooey mess. I've like SQN in the past but this is over the top. 16.2%, creamy half and half, sweet, super concentrated, but also over-extracted and syrupy. Addendum to the DD Rose Champagnes blind at Grand Harbor.
