November 24, 2021 - Medium gold color with pink tint
Medium plus aromas of green herbs and dry rock primarily with unripe stone fruit in background - not at all fruit driven and very complex
Medium bodied with rather round mouthfeel due to lees contact? Citrus pith and pear with bitter herbal back palate
Medium plus acidity and medium alcohol with a nice finish
Mineral driven wine - I really dig this
October 15, 2021 - Same. No decline yet. 12%
August 8, 2021 - Tart citrus and minerality are what stand out. Really liked it better on its own than with food, as it was a little finicky about what it was paired with. A very nice summer drinker, although $40 for it seems a little stiff.
April 9, 2021 - Delicious little wine here by AR. A little reductive in style and leesy, I suspect the wine sees little to no oak. Low alcohol and high acidity, it’s just dripping with starfruit. A little sweetness on the finish. Really delicious, food friendly wine that goes down all to fast
September 1, 2020 - Seems like it has only recently come together, and it is great. 12%
July 23, 2020 - Similar impressions to bottle from May. This was just lovely and perfect on a hot summer night.
July 4, 2020 - Nice nose with citrus, lime, tart stone fruit, and a hint of grassy notes. Lovely acidity with more citrus, grapefruit, and lots of mineral flavors on the palate. Nice finish.
February 1, 2020 - Really good. Ripe white fruit but a cuttingly crisp body. It's dense and packed with flavor but light on the tongue. Great minerality and finish.
September 20, 2019 - Quite good and definitely improved with air. Ripe pear, soft herbs, and wonderfully saline. I would wait 1-2 years before opening one.
August 19, 2019 - Classic Friuli-Venezia Ribolla Gialla, I don't believe anyone who claims to be able to call this as California blind. Almond, pear, and wet stone. Fleshy on the palate, killer acidity, finishes salty. Drink now through 2025.
