    January 9, 2021 - 18 MdR Rueda
Tropical fruits and flowers, with a lovely savoury and chalky length of flavour. Cracking value and very pretty to smell. 90

December 30, 2020 - A really fine summer wine. Buy by the case as Haskells.

May 28, 2020 - a bit like Marlborough SB, plus raspberry note in finish. Starts from 90/100, ending in 87/100. So drink in an hour, once opened.

May 15, 2020 - Jag gillar det här. Frisk och aromatisk doft av Piggelin, päron, nyslaget gräs och lite tropisk frukt. Frisk och god smak med inslag av päron, citron och örter. Lite bråkiga syror och något kort med en lätt bitter knorr. Enkelt men gott.

    April 27, 2020 - Acceptable - Good.

    Pale lemon.
Medium (+) intensity nose of guava, tinned mango, pineapple, with some rockmelon thrown in as well.
Dry, medium acid, with an alcoholic burn at 13.5% (worrying), medium (+) bodied, medium flavour intensity, with the palate matching the nose, with pineapple and a medium (-) mango finish.

Drink now, this really is a simple wine all about tropical primary fruit.

I would note that this wine was hugely influenced by serving temperature. Straight out of the fridge it was quite refreshing, enjoyable and almost had a bitter, pithy note, but at room temperature it morphed into a cloying tropical fruit salad.

January 27, 2020 - MNB: Sauv Blanc and laterals (Home (Noe st)): (blind)
    Pale yellow color.
Reductive nose. Not in a great way.
Super bitter. Dry. 13%% alcohol (actually 13.5%), medium acid, super bitter.
    Neutral aromas.

What could be this bitter? Low quality wine or a phenolic grape?
    Low-end Verdelho?

    Cheap rueda?
    Final call:
    Low-end Gruner because it's bitter.

Actually: Marques de Riscal - actually Cheap Rueda.
Analysis: This is a terrible wine. Super bitter.

TA: guessed 5 (actually 5.6) - feels like there's a ton of malic. Super hard acid.
    pH: guessed 3.3 (actually 3.1)
    Sugar: dry.

November 22, 2019 - One of the best <$10 whites out there. Juicy, crisp, Lime-pear-apple, good acid, and holds up against a variety of foods.

November 2, 2019 - This is the version that doesn’t have Verdejo on front label, though back label says this is the grape variety.

    Young, plain. Tinned fruit character.

    {13.5%, screwcap}

October 24, 2019 - Nice, friendly, juicy, one-dimensional and a whiff of artificial pear.
