February 25, 2011 - Fresh red cherries flavor with nice mid-palate, long length and pleasant finish. Well balanced. Somehow, does not work well with food. I tried it with cheese (Piave, Ossau Iraty), chocolate, and pepper seasoned beef roast, but neither worked! Just drink it straight!

January 5, 2010 - Decanted for 2 hours...still tart. Venturi opened the nose to a decent oaky/nutty aroma, and mellowed the taste a bit . Still a little effervescent and dry. Needs more time or more decanting.
