  February 22, 2023 - Double blind tasting
  Medium gold core with extensive watery rim with pink tints - very interesting
  Medium plus aromas dominated by honey and ginger/saffron botrytis notes with beautiful peach and melon
  Medium plus bodied with palate of peach/ apricot jam and honeyed melon - very unique and distinctive
  Possible mild amount of RS here but I couldn't tell for sure and may have been persuaded by the botrytis notes
  Medium plus/ high acidity with crescendo effect - no phenolics and medium alcohol
  Wonderful length led by the acid and fruit
  This is really a delicious and distinctive wine
  I went with Vouvray so not far off
  Drink now or 5-10 years - I think this has great aging potential

  February 19, 2023 - Medium gold with clearing pink rim
  Aromatics medium +. Honey and florals. Saffron, followed by a deep ripe melon and later a mushroom. No new oak
  Palate has a medium + body. Acid medium + with a crescendo note that lasts. No phenolics. Alcohol medium. Sweet honey and lemons
  Finish has a medium + length. Balanced
  Dry glass notes of honey
  Overall a beautiful example of a Loire Chenin blanc. Complex aromatics
  Drinking well now but has structure to age for quite a while if desired
