February 8, 2019 - beautiful bouquet right off the bat, very nice red fruited essence, with good balance and lift. One of the more drinkable 05s i've had

July 16, 2018 - French Wine at Lunch, and with the World Cup final: Absolutely stunning - the first serious 05 burgundy I've opened. Intense yet delicate raspberry fruit on the nose, just a little gamey funk beginning to show up, impeccable balance and still some tannin. A young wine for sure but not at all closed. Very very special wine and exemplifying everything I love in Burgundy.

April 17, 2018 - At Acker's Wine Workshop Chambolle-Musigny Terroir Tasting at the Michaelangelo NY. Muted nose. Lot's of fruit on the palate. Well balanced and silky. I really enjoyed this. 92-93

April 11, 2018 - Agree that the immediate pleasure delivered by the this wine may mask its complexity. I loved it. One note from the tasting that seemed right on to me was rose potpourri with lightly toasted thin curls of bark. Enjoyable for the full 2 hours I tasted it.

April 10, 2018 - This is easily the best nose out of the first five wines with an elegant bouquet of red cherry, blackberry, current, and a developing savory and rustic character showing already. This palate has intense red cherry fruit but has so much silky Chambolle mineral texture with dark spices. Delicious and quite impressive. Better integrated than the ‘05 Roumier Les Cras right now.
