September 23, 2021 - Quite enjoyable at the price point.

July 12, 2021 - Nose of black plum, graphite, and oak. Black raspberry fruit flows over wet river rocks on the palate, adding summery savory, white pepper, and sorrel. Firm tannins with black licorice, coffee grounds, red cherry and a tight oak finish.

February 21, 2021 - Still too young. A lot of dark and red fruit, but the tannins are still prominent hours after opening. Try again in 2023.

February 7, 2021 - Blackberry, blueberry and baking spices

February 5, 2021 - Obviously made with good grape stock, and therefore had a better than decent starting point. But somewhere along the line this vintage/wine was mishandled. Deep lush nose, and a muscular wine. But it does not linger on the palate, and has a pronounced odd, overbearing, astringent, and heavy aftertaste. It would probably help to cellar this wine another 5 years, but even then it might still retain its unusual (i.e., not so great) characteristics. A curious wine best left to others at its price point (even "on clearance"). Drink The Prisoner or a $30 Malbec and you'll probably be happier.
