March 11, 2024 - On pnp, dark red fruit and violets exploded from the bottle. Once in the glass, it’s a bit shy and needed some time to open up, but eventually the nose is giving crunchy red fruit, some leafiness, and spice. As it warmed up a little, the fruit character turned darker and a bit of the floral characteristics returned. What a beautifully complex nose. On the palate, it has a silky and polished mouthfeel, with sour cherries, black cherries, with just hints of tertiary earthiness. On pnp, the finish had a bit more length but after it sat in the glass, the finish started falling away pretty quickly. Disappointing, though on the front palate, the wine sings! Would buy again, but not something I’d buy a case of.

January 8, 2023 - earthy sous bois nose emerged after being open for 30 mins. Delicate light body with floral bing cherry pomegranate nose and front palate with sour jolly rancher mid-back palate. Short on the finish but that front is so good it’s hard to resist another sip. No indication it’s past peak. Curious if there’s more complexity to come.

December 27, 2021 - Decanted >1 hour. Very aromatic with light red fruit, fresh flowers and baking yeast. Medium, body and a very nice Willamette Valley PN.

October 11, 2021 - Lots of good in this set but for me it doesn't come together. Appealing nose. Nice initial mouth feel. But then it turns a touch sour, then directionally simple. And the finish is on the short side. One of my less satisfying LF bottles.
