September 7, 2022 - Nice fruit. Improved while in the glass. Should improve with a couple of cellar years

February 6, 2022 - On Saturday we drank Black Stallion Limited Release 2016. Unlike little brother, this is really a step up in quality. Better balanced, not the feeling of oak chips, here is a feeling for terroir, not an artificial wine that should satisfy the market that applies to little brother. On the other hand, Limited Release is a bit short, does not think the tannins do the job, thus lacks a bit of structure. But nice fruit that is typical Cabernet Sauvignon. You who have 2016 should not wait, drink within the next year.

May 29, 2021 - Loved this wine! Great dark fruits and just enough wood. Fantastic for the money! Enjoyed at the Llanos with Cyndi and Kerry while Enrique was in Mexico.

December 28, 2020 - Excellent Cab, full-bodied, nice taste of black currant and other dark fruit, cedar wood, soft tannings, perfect balance

November 1, 2020 - Absolutely fabulous. Ready today or in a few years. A friend visited the winery and suggest this one to me. Great recommendation. I think I’ll have to add another case to the vault.

September 18, 2019 - Very soft and easy with a luxrious sense of new oak. Did Jerry Bruckheimer produce the Black Stallion is the question.

July 18, 2019 - Black fruit to it, tastes like dark napa cab. At $60 or so it works.
