April 8, 2012 - Maybe it was the vine age, or maybe it was the bottle age, but this was not the Zin I expected. It was full of molasses, dust and baked fruit. Quite good, especially after it got some air, but not your typical Zin, to be sure.

August 18, 2011 - Purple, of course. Very fragrant nose of black berries and plums and vanilla and earth. Huge dark fruit attack that fades quickly and ends alcoholic slightly metallic. I dont thinkthis will get better with age. Not my style .
