March 9, 2022 - 1st bottle reasonable dark, not overly fruit forward which is good. Might be an 89 or so, need to try 2nd bottle.

July 21, 2021 - 1. "ist" wines are annoying; labels (ugly art), blends, descriptions, taste.
    2. Reading all the notes, you will have no clue about the character of this wine. Not the tasters' fault, this wine is intentionally made without character, some fruit, some sugar, some oak, some acid, the last taste triggered a memory of canned mixed fruit last tasted 50 years ago.

I understand why many can enjoy a wine expressly made to appeal - an emoji wine. I prefer wines made to express the blood of the grapes, the soul of the vineyard, the sweat of the winemaker.

March 6, 2021 - 53% Petit Verdot, 24% Malbec, 23% Cab Sauv. Gave a few hours in decanter. Prickly, big shouldered nose with forest pine, citrus notes, and a cocoa and roasted plum underbelly. Earthy and old woody hitting the palate with hints of baking spice/brown butter. Not elegant, but intriguing and enjoyable. Fair QPR.

January 12, 2021 - Muted nose showing plum, a little blueberry and tobacco. Sharply acidic on the palate initially but mellows over time. Heavy oak influence with notes of black fruit, cranberry, cedar, brown spice and a trace of cocoa nibs. Tannins are firm, slightly chewy leading to a dry, tart finish.
