August 20, 2023 - Medium golden yellow, nose of ripe apples and some earthy tones.
On the palate a somewhat buttery texture with a very fruity expression of ripe apples, oak and some tropical elements.

January 4, 2023 - So disappointing that this bottle was flawed. Yellow amber colour. Musty dullness.

February 16, 2022 - This is nice. Good rather than great, but not worth the £25 I paid.
    Double decanted for 2 hours.
Typical heavy, non-refined Californian Chardonnay. Dark straw yellow. Thick in the glass.
On the nose melon, peach, butterscotch, with hints of coconut and vanilla. On the palate very thick. I think this wine lacks the acidity required to balance the strong bold flavours it offers.
Definitely not a wine to drink on its own. Pair it with equally bold food.
We had it with salmon fillets in a Malaysian coconut and lemongrass sauce, served with rice, fresh coriander and lime wedges. That worked well I have to say.
This was my first ABC, but did not live up to the hype. I have a 2018 Chardonnay and a Hildegard. I’ve heard lots of interesting things about the latter. So looking forward to pop that one soon.

December 25, 2021 - Incredibly vibrant colour - grassy yellow. Flavours of lemon, grapefruit and apple above biscuity base. Robust enough to stand up to Christmas Day roast goose extremely well.
