March 22, 2024 - Delicious and balanced bordeaux blend. Cherry, chocolate, cigar, cedar and licorice notes with polished tannins and now somewhat calmed medium acidity.

January 22, 2023 - Very very nice blend that is a definition of Napa meeting Bordeaux half way! Reminded me of old works from first sniff to the last. Driven by volcanic rocks, minerals, dirt and dried cherries. With some air, more black plums and dark cherries appeared. Stronger oak calmed down and wine achieved awesome balance. Good acid and flavorful tannins on nice finish.

August 7, 2022 - Luscious blackberry fruit, velvet tannins and firm acidity. A little licorice and earth. Dense and satisfying.

March 31, 2022 - Pnp. Ready now. And will keep. Bordeaux blend, cab dominant. Beautiful wine. Nice dark red fruit, black cherry, raspberry, with violet, iron, and wet stone. Tannins are medium, not the nice more forward velvet tannins when I first had this wine in the 2011 vintage. Acidity is quite high, so plenty of time to drink the others I have! Day 1, the oak is more present, day 2, I can’t detect that.

December 18, 2021 - Decanted 3+ hrs. Dark garnet, ruby color. Scents of currant, plum, pencil lead, with some heat. Bright cherry, fig, blueberry flavors. Plenty of tannins on the finish. Could go another 7-10 years.
