  July 27, 2021 - 2018: Bright medium ruby. Cherry, cream, red berry nose takes some time to come out. Sweet fruit, little herb, silky, some weight and heat, and with the finish showing fine tannin. Lovely today.
  2017: definitely darker than 2018. Bouquet has darker fruit, perhaps black currant. Impressive concentration of spicy, nuanced dark fruit with a quite sweet impression, structure is solid for 5 more years, at least. this is a very good wine.

  November 29, 2019 - Classic raspberry with a bit of smoke-wood nose. Lean and elegant entry of sour cherry, very fine tannins, good acidity on the finish. More old world than new. Made for food with that acidity. Rounds out with a bit of air time and some of that raspberry comes through on the pallet as well. Old world fans, I think, would like this..
