February 28, 2021 - Appearance: pale lemon.
Nose: medium intensity; aromas of lemon, toast, grapefruit, yellow nectarine, creaminess, blossom. It's developing.
Palate: dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium flavour intensity, medium finish.
Overall, it's a good wine. Drink now, not suitable for further ageing.
Decent quality and well made. A lean style chardy with fresh acidity and vibrant fruits. But I always find the single vineyard wine (chardy or pinot) from Oakridge is a little over-priced (other than their flagship 864 range). -

December 25, 2020 - Nice wine. Mod-Oz meets “worked”. Med body and acidity, good fruit weight and depth, melon predominately and smidge of citrus, oak there but not overwhelming, sulphur? Plenty happening beyond my descriptors, but overall a balanced wine that was quite enjoyable. Not a knockout but a bit more than your average Chardonnay.

Overall, it's a very good wine. Can drink now, has potential for short term ageing.
Lean style chardy with focused fruits. Decent complexity and fruit concentration but nothing surprising. Enjoyable and food friendly. -

More citrus fruit then the 16.. Makes sense considering the hot ripe year in 16..
Lemon, passion fruit, cashew, honey dew, flint and mineral... Prefer the 16 which has more stone fruit... This may age well, will hold on my last for a few years..
