December 5, 2020 - The wine is clear, medium golden core with a thin watery rim, developing.

Nose is clean, medium intense aromas of yellow apples, grilled lemon, cheddar, physalis, liqourice root, developing

Palate is dry, medium acidity, alcohol, body and flavour intensity with medium+ dry-extract and aromas of yellow apples, grilled lemon, stonefruit, almond, honey melon, gravel, yellow, medium finish

Well balanced, but lacks a touch acidity, medium finish, intensity comes from the quite high dry-extract, very complexity and solid concentration. 88p

August 15, 2020 - A brilliant wine. So cleverly done. Sweeping complex and textured, broad across the palate, interesting and very drinkable.

July 22, 2019 - For whatever reason, I love connecting wine to memories from my childhood and Roussanne always reminds me of pull tab canned fruit cocktail - the syrupy kind with the peaches and the apricots and the neon cherry glowing prize. If you save the pulpy liquid for the end, you’d have a version of Roussanne. While I love the flavors, I’ve had many meak, watery, angular examples.

This is bullseye. Expertly assembled. Take those fruit cocktail notes and add a good dash of cinnamon and nutmeg. So good.

March 5, 2019 - A very well-done and likable wine. Tasted side by side with Adele. This showed much more complexity and character. Green, grassy tones dominate the nose with hints of white pepper and herbs. Great, juicy acidity, well-balanced with the 12.5% alcohol. The lees contact comes to expression more on the palate than on the nose. Long finish.
