October 2, 2021 - Displays a medium lemon green hue with some definite spritz and a medium body. Pronounced and intense fragrant nose showing honeysuckle, ripe tropical fruits, green melon, and white pear with subtle minerality in the background. Reasonable complexity. Although dry, the fruits present on the palate as being very ripe to the point of tasting “sweet”. Subtle, fresh acidity provides balance to offset the perceived sweetness of the fruit while supporting a fairly long finish. Although I personally don’t care for the style, nor the producer, this wine is “very good” based strictly on accepted WSET evaluation criteria. Drink now, as this wine is unlikely to improve with further cellaring.
