December 7, 2023 - Just and outstanding zinfandel.

March 11, 2023 - Bright crimson in color. 14.8% ABV. Sublime nose of black and blue fruits, cocoa and peach. Full bodied with mouth watering acidity. Loaded with plush, dark fruits. Blackberry, blueberry, raspberry liqueur, chocolate and pepper on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish. Immensely appealing and certainly one of the best Dry Creek Valley Zins. Best over the next 3-5 years.

May 3, 2022 - PnP. Strong note of dark chocolate on the nose with some cocoa, but not much fruit. Blackberry and blueberry fruit on the palate with some rustic dried herbs and oaky spice. Oak starts the finish, adds some smooth tannins and blackberry fruit, but the whole finish sort of fades out. It was a bit disappointing - there simply isn't a lot of punch, bold fruit, or excitement to this Zin.

April 15, 2022 - Very subtle introduction of red berries and stone fruit on the tip of the tongue. Very nice level of acidity gives the fruit just the slightest hint of tartness. Some stone flavors. A medium-bodied wine that is quite satisfying.

April 29, 2021 - Poured blind. I didn't take notes so this is from recall. This to me was one of the best wines on the table of the dozen we had open. Initially, I put this on Syrah, as it had a berry profile, a subtle and balanced note. I had some thought about whether this was Zin, as it had a pure berry kind of feel, and there was no alcohol anywhere in the wine that I can find, nor any wood. In total, it just drank beautifully, a wine I wanted to keep drinking and appreciate. I'd say too one of the best red wines I have had in 2021. Really spot on delicious.
