nose - quite sulfurous at first, really needed a few minutes to de-gas after which it calmed down considerably. lurking in the background is buttered popcorn and candy corn
mouth - powerful but not heavy, pineapple and potent lemon rind completely coat the palate and linger on and on. Tremendous acidity gives this wine great verve. If ever a lemondrop were a wine, this would be it. When you take a sip, it completely wipes out whatever else was in your mouth. Drinking better than imagined and i suspect it will get even better with time. Freakshow wow wine. If this is the bastard, what's the real deal like?1 person found this helpful Comment
