August 26, 2020 - Simply stupendous!
June 5, 2020 - From Coravin. dusty baked red berry underpinned by black pepper, garrigue and charcuterie. With time some baked earth, slight mushroom and leather...and it smells 'fresh'. In the mouth it's juicy, fresh and fleshy with baked red berry, dusty spice and black pepper growing on the long finish. Soft tannins and a little alcohol warmth. Easy.
April 29, 2020 - From Coravin. Red berry, garrigue, leather, earth, slight herbaceous underpin and a touch of meat. Juicy, stewed red berries, slight herbaceous notes, tannins are silkier than I remember, touch of alcohol warmth. Hmm.
May 2, 2019 - strangely this was 'gone' - no bouquet or fruit - did not smell off just past its 'use by' date - not rated
September 14, 2018 - Coravin fun - Ready to drink (Kennards, Waterloo): From Coravin. A little bit flat and a little bit meaty/funky initially. With agitation it shows baked red berries and cherries over a little savoury spice and baked herbs. On the palate its juicy and savoury, quite baked fruits, herbs and peppery spice before chalky tannic burr across the mid palate closes things down. Hmm. Bit out of whack but historical tasting teaches me that if I leave this for another ten years it will come good.
May 25, 2018 - Lots of fruit and herbs. Nice tannins and oak. Bit of warmth from the alcohole. Classic CdP at entry-level. Good value for money! Very nice right now.
January 27, 2018 - Nice and smooth with some depth. Drink up.
December 4, 2017 - Finally this has come together and the austerity is no more. Red fruit fading away to autumnal notes. Actually quite elegant.
May 1, 2016 - Assez complexe, kirsch et alcool, cuir etc. mais pas trop long. Équilibre. Tuilé légèrement. Plus léger qu'opulent. À boire.
March 20, 2016 - I've previously rated this wine 90-91 but it didn't show quite as well this time. Still, full bodied and integrated, just lacking depth. All the same, it's a nice "casual" wine. Drink up.
