February 15, 2024 - Ruby, clear, some fine sediment. Big aromas of dusty cherries, leather and walnuts. Almost a Brunello vibe going on. Brett is + but it's really good Brett. A little warm in the mouth, with some garrigue tannins. Fruit is holding, acidity -. Not a lot of evolution over a couple of hours, but this is definitely in the window.
July 3, 2023 - Drinking a point. Has a dry firm, style, a real 2005, needs food, classical food, really. Love it.

April 24, 2023 - Singing tonight. Pepper, Asian spices, dark cherry fruit. Structure and balance. Beautiful wine.
November 26, 2022 - Initial pour was not well integrated but it was rescued with a decant. After that solid fruit base with decent acidity. Not a long finish.
April 17, 2022 - Wonderful. Rich sweet with supporting acid. Short finish but very satisfying. Drink.
13/20
September 11, 2021 - Delicious. But needs to be consumed now. Showing just a tad past prime. A little bit of nose and flavor that was odd, but not off, for a CDP. Drink up!
August 7, 2021 - Opened two bottles. Both seemed oxidized and could feel the heat of the alcohol, almost like a tawny port. Or maybe that's meant to be the style of this particular wine when it has age. Either way, I didn't care for it.
March 20, 2021 - Drinking very well. Smooth with well blender cherry/strawberry nose.Bit shortnon the tannins
February 11, 2021 - Was completely baffled the first night by a very odd nose and a tepid, unpleasant palate. By night two it had taken on a boozy stench that I've come to associate with oxidation. 16 years old and it comes to this. How disappointing.
