February 1, 2017 - Monthly Tasting Group EEE #057 : A random set (@ My place): Special and mature wine, but for some of the (more or less experienced) tasters it was their favorite beside a Riesling and an ok Burgundy. The bouquet shows anise and some oak as well as mature aromatic fruits. On the palate the same. Ok acidity. Overall a very special wine which is not dead yet, but probably has been better. No score.

March 9, 2012 - Good but not great. Probably at the end of its bottle life.

February 11, 2012 - Was a dark yellow in colour. Had a oxidative nose which I am not a fan of with aspect of floral. Weighty on the taste and a touch of sweetness but not in a good way. Was unbalanced and not enjoyable.

August 10, 2011 - Very oxidized. Caramel-peach in color. Some florals left on aroma and palate, but not enjoyable. No sign of cork failure.

December 22, 2009 - Flowers, pineapples, honey, and oak on the nose. Pretty much the same on the palate, but solid all the way through and a really nice finish. Perfect balance. (The balance fell apart after the first day.) The only flaw is a little bit of alcohol on the back. 90+
