    August 29, 2022 - Very powerful, maybe wait another 5 yesrs (2027)

January 2, 2022 - Great, great bottle. 2+ hours of decant needed for the wine to show. This is not a pop/pour wine at this stage of its development. Would benefit from 3-5 more years in the cellar. Paired so nicely with ravioli with pink (marinara / alfredo) sauce.

March 11, 2021 - Just a taste. Elegance and subtlety are the themes here. Extremely well made with silky structure, layers of flavor and very long finish. All that said, this is way too early to open, just not in the sense of it's too tight. There's more hiding in the core of the fruit that has yet to show, and adding a layer of tertiary components will do well here. Remember this is a Bordeaux style wine and hold for 10+ years if you want your money's worth.

December 19, 2020 - Super Tuscan: 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in new French oak barrels. 14% alcohol.

Tasted day one, drank day two.

    Ruby red color.

Aromas of ripe red fruit, vanilla, cedar and licorice. Flavors of red fruit, licorice and cedar.

Dry. Medium body. High acidity. Chewy tannins. Perfect balance and structure. Very elegant and complex with a silky texture.

Medium finish with red fruit and heat.

    Day one: Closed and unbalanced.

Day two: Improved a lot since opening, keeps improving substantially during the night and it never ends, just keeps improving. First impression was nothing special, in the end it is the ultimate experience to enjoy this wine. Very elegant, extremely intense and very complex. Would love to try a bottle in 30 years. 100/100

Tignanello.
