July 19, 2018 - LOVE this wine. Brought back from Italy and the 3 prior were all wonderful (prior to cellartracker). Crisp after decanting for about 10-15 minutes. Fully blackberry and vanilla flavors, elegant. Provided a glass to our restaurant owner & friend.....He was jealous. The finish was long and beautiful

July 24, 2013 - This wine was awesome right out of the bottle, and got better after 30 minutes of air in the glass. The color had some light bircking at the edges, but otherwise fairly dark. The nose had lots of red dusty fruits, some mocha and cinnamon. The wine on the palate was smooth and slick at first but with a little air it swelled to be more plush. The acid was in perfect balance with the fruit and texture, the flavors in the mouth matched the nose, maybe some blue fruits added but nice lively red fruits.

The previous reviewer nailed it with the 3-4 year wait, this thing is in the perfect drinking window. Getting primary, secondary, and tertiary flavors. I picked this up for $20 on clearance a couple years ago so awesome QPR for me.

October 9, 2010 - Could definately age another 3-4 years.
Fantastic boquet, Requires few hours on caraff begore drinking. The power of this wine requires dominant food. Perfect with Brie de Meau

January 27, 2007 - Montreal Offline: Tuscany (Restaurant Bleu Raisin): Deep ruby red. Nice nose of fresh cherries, oak, raspberries, vanilla. Full mouth of fruits. balanced tannins and crisp acidity on a medium plus length.

June 13, 2006 - Trip to Italy 2006 (part 2); 6/13/2006-6/15/2006: Made from 50% merlot, 30% cab, and 20% syrah. Aged 18 months in new oak barriques, 12 months in bottle. Nose of blackberry jam. Blueberries, blackberries, mint. Chocolatey - almost a chocolate mint thing. Well integrated. Drinking very well. Round and full. 91+.
