March 12, 2024 - I’ve had a six pack of this sitting in my cellar for a couple of years. I figured because it was a ‘17, I’d better start drinking it. I read the reviews on Cellar Tracker and was quite surprised that they were so positive, especially at this price point. Opened a bottle tonight and we were really surprised at how good it is. A really great nose - lots of fruit. The wine has perfect acidity (maybe a bit much for some), a strong presence of grapefruit/pineapple but very smooth. It paired really well with a rolled chicken in a mushroom cream sauce. So glad that we tried it - we’ll polish off the other five bottles within the next year or so, as I don’t expect it will go more than 7-8 years (til ‘25). I’d give it a 92. As good as many bottles at twice the price.

February 25, 2024 - Nose is pear, vanilla and some pineapple with a touch of funk. Pear, honey and pineapple carries through and funk remains underlaying but stays in the background. Butter on finish. Enough acid to keep it fresh. Always a nice wine.

December 31, 2022 - If I had one word to describe this wine, it would be zippy. Plenty of lemony flavor and acidity, paired well with Scampi.

December 28, 2022 - Vivid lemon yellow color.
Rich nose, citrus, a little tropical, nutty, some butter.
Great mouthfeel, good acidity, baked apples and lemons, well integrated oak, alcohol (14.5%) is present but not obtrusive, great length.
The color would suggest something more oaky and malolactic, but this isn't at all. Drinking well now but will last a while.

November 18, 2022 - An excellent chardonnay, evolving nicely compared to my last tasting in April of this year. Notes of green apple, citrus, honeysuckle, minerals with nice balance and great mouthfeel.
