April 17, 2020 - 98% Tempranillo, 2% Grenache from Stoney Vine Vineyard in The Rocks District. Partial Whole cluster fermentation. 263 cases produced.
Bold aromas show the Rocks distinctly. Bold meaty scents of aged meats, Portobello mushrooms, sous bois and touches of cooked bell pepper mingle with notes of dark red cherry, plum, olive, campfire, earth and white pepper.
The palate is full showing firm and ripe tannins, above moderate acidity, and smooth, velvety textures. Flavors of plum and dark cherry weave in Portobello, olive tapenade, earth, ash, bramble, smoke and spice that linger through the long, bold finish. -

October 12, 2019 - Just the beginning of its window. The stony vine mineralic influence on this tempranillo is unique and very fun to drink. More fruit will come as it develops over the years.
