July 11, 2020 - Fun right out of the gate. Mouth-cleansing notes of red berries, navel oranges, and just a tinge of minerals. Very good with nice energy on the finish.
April 25, 2020 - The stone fruit is a bit sour on the front. Rounds somewhat to berry on the back of the palate. Better when enjoyed with a salad.

70% Syrah & 30% Grenache grown in an accumulation of rounded pebbles; "Made by draining off the vat. Its color is obtained through a short maceration of between 4 & 12 hrs. Fermentation takes place in s/s tanks with the temperature controlled at 64°F." 50,000 cases imported.
N: Fragrant FLOWERS *slightly* atop minerals, grapes underneath
P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) offset by an acidity which almost discretely drives the bus into & through the LONG, balanced finish with an enticing tangy/swtness (45:55). For now & into '21. A versatile style probably SLIGHTLY better as a quaff, but should also be able to work with lighter fare. 13% ABV; My EXC- (& that's without taking into consideration its *impressive* QPR). 90 pts Vinous (Reynolds, 8/1/19), 88 + a "Best Buy" from WE (Iijima, 9/1/19) @ $11, 87 WS (9/30/19), & Dan Berger's "Rosé Value of the Year (to date)" [7/23/19]. P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) nicely balanced by an acidity which subtly controls the action into & through the LONG, balanced, very, VERY slightly bitterish finish. Did better with a spicy, soft taco that I would have predicted! For now & through '20, POSS *early* '21. July 21, 2019 - Light pale pink in color. Full, fragrant & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of strawberries, cherries & watermelon with overtones of floral notes, some spices & minerals. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries, cranberries & sour cherries with some spices & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present & has some limited potential for additional development with another year of aging but definitely best consumed in its youth. An indicative blend of 70% Syrah & 30% Grenache Noir.

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with nice, ALMOST swtish, applish frt (threshold R.S.?) counterbalanced by an acidity which keeps things in check through the LONG, VERY slightly bitterish finish with HINTS of swtness. The finish probably pushes this wine into being BETTER suited with food. For now & through '20 (safely). My VG+; [This vendor's $9.95 now puts it @ the top of the bottom 1/2 of wine-searcher's postings.]
