November 15, 2019 - Dark Ruby colour. Perfumed and quite detailed and dry though it has fruit balance. Raspberry and dark cherries, earthy rather than sous-bois, lifting savoury finish.

September 12, 2019 - No formal note but opened early afternoon and sampled throughout the afternoon prior to dinner. It was enjoyable to drink but I kept thinking that this needs more time - occasionally some burnt wood notes would pop up. It has the stuffing for the long haul - I will re-sample in a year or so..

September 11, 2019 - Drinking well after a one hour decant. A solid Burgundy, if nothing spectacular.

July 21, 2018 - Just as good as last one tried 3+ years ago. Cherry red in color. Lovely nose of black fruits, minerals and spice. Drinking well with no tannin and refined palate of black fruits, spice and minerals. Mixed reviews on CT, but I have enjoyed both bottles from my cellar with 1 to go. Ready to drink.

May 9, 2017 - I've had a lot of 05 Burgs and most are not ready. This was albeit this is just entering its drinking window in my view. This wine had a weight to it - definitely didn't not drink like a village wine. Was rich and complex. Darker red/purple color. Lots of perfume on the nose. Tons of flavors that coated the mouth. A very enjoyable experience.
